AWARDS
Each year, at our conference, we present awards that celebrate excellent work being done within the field of literacy.

SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO LITERACY
This is awarded to the individual or organisation who has moved literacy research or practice forward considerably.
​
BEST RESEARCH ARTICLE
This is awarded to the article, published in our journal Reading & Writing between January and December of the previous year, which made a contribution to the field and displayed exemplary adherence to the hallmarks of scholarly publications.
​
BEST STUDENT PRESENTATION
This is awarded to a current or recently graduated student who gives a presentation at the annual conference which emanated from a Masters or Doctoral research study.
​
BEST FIRST-TIME PRESENTER
This award is intended to acknowledge the courage and professional development of individuals who have never presented at any conference ever before.
